In april I got to go on the Zoo field trip with Daxtons class! I was soo excited to go on a field trip! I was determined to be the coolest mom chaperon there-this is when motherhood really begins-when you actually get to be involved in your kids activities! I remember as a kid there were two types of moms...the fun moms and the boring moms! I was ready to party! Turns out I got the smallest group with Dax and two other kids who were to say the least not very excited to be there, and did not say more then six words the whole time! What a bust! However I did get suckered into buying them each something at the gift shop and had to smuggle the items into their backpacks when we got back to school so that the other kids in the class and the teacher for that matter would not see them! I think that makes me pretty cool:)
Notes: Dax no longer allows me to hug him or hold his hand in public:( He also HAS to wear his hair the COOL way in a fohawk!!!??? Great here we go!
