The last weeekend in January we took off for a road trip to Cali to go visit my brother and his wife and kids for our little neice Peyton's baby shower. It was quick but a ton of fun. We loaded up the cars with us my sister and her family and my parents and all of our junk to make the 12 hour trip. Huntington Beach was amazing! It was in the mid 70's and warm the whole time we were there. One morning all of us moms took off on the beach cruisers for a bike ride over to the cute little main street shopping. Then we spent all of Saturday at the beach. The kids dug half way to china, played in the water and collected sea shells. The adults were heavily involved in a smashball tournament-Derric and I started it by talking a big game and make some amazing dives and thinking were we unbeatable with our 27 volleys in a row. Well Payslie and Joe came along and wooped us all with 75 volleys! Amazing! The next day was Peyton's blessing and the spirit was so strong there. We know that she is a special girl and going to grow up to be an amazing person! We had a lot of fun! Thanks Clay and Cheryl!

Lucky dogs...we just hung out here in UT...weather was probably fabulous...30s? Looks like lots of fun and so warm!!
