I finally got the chance to get these posted. We had a fun day at the Salt Lake City Marathon! My brother Clay actually ran the marathon and then Derric,Payslie, Joe my mom and dad and I ran in the 5k. We got babysitters for 5:30am and then had to rush up there. Derric and I got to the start line about 30 sec before the gun went off. No time to stretch or anything! Well I decided that I was going to sprint the whole thing and I guess everyone else wanted to follow suit. We were all sucking wind by the end of the race and had knee injuries, shin splints and stress fracutures! We are discovering that we can't just get up and go anymore, like we could when we were teenagers-it is so weird to feel your body getting older.
