Christmas 09!

Wow we sure do love the holidays around our house! It seemed to last the whole month of December! We started off on Dec 5th going with Derric's family to a live Nativity. It was really cool! It was outside in a barn and they had animals for the kids to pet and there were soliders riding around on horseback looking for new born baby boys!!!Yikes! Then you came to the manger where a real baby Jesus was sound alseep and Joseph and Mary looked on. It was a great time to remember what the holidays are all about before all the hussell and bussell began. Then we had a progressive dinner with my family. We started off at our house for appetizers, an ugly sweater contest and games. Then off to my sisters house for salad and drinks and more games. Then off to my parents house for the main course and our annual nativity play. Then a few days later Derric's sister and her family came into town and we had another progressive dinner with his family in the same fashion. Then we did something everyday after that until new years eve! We went to movies, shopped, sledded, ate, played games & did puzzles(John wasn't sure how I could be competitive at puzzles but I showed him!!:) I sure was exhausted with never being home and always being on the go but it was a ton of fun!
