Education Week!

Derric and I made it to another session of Education week at BYU! This has been our third year going and we have made it a goal to go every year since we live so close and there are so many that travel from all over the country to hear these amazing spiritual leaders! We went with our friends Brian & Marci and Amanda & Craig! We have so much fun together and it was great to spend some spiritual time together learning as well. There are hundreds of classes from parenting to how to deal with addictions to increasing your testimony and how to have a strong marriage. We usually try to hit one class on parenting, one class on marriage and one class to help us spiritually! We always leave feeling excited about the future and doing the little things to improve our family and spirits in this crazy world!

I always feel so much gratitude for the gospel after leaving Education Week-the spirit that you feel there! Knowing that we have the guidence that we need to make it through this hard, hard life filled with scary temptation for our children as well as ourselves. To keep learning the things that we should be doing to steer clear of the storms and the pitfalls of life and then have the tools given to us to help us up and strengthen us when we do fall and give into the things we shouldn't be doing, or the trials that we will face. You can definitely feel our Saviors love there! You can feel His empathy for us and His encouragment as well! You can feel Him saying "press on, be strong!" Yeah there is a lot of bad in the world, but there is nothing stronger then God, His power and His love for US, His children!
