We had a super fun halloween this year and never lacked for something to do! We had so much fun at our neighbors halloween party! Thanks Emily! Her house was packed with every kid from the neighborhood and she had tons of fun activities for the kids to do! Then we had our wards trunk or treat where the kids loaded up on there first batch of candy. Next it was off to Hey Haws where we got to ride, pet and feed all the animals. The kids loved the huge slide-we couldn't get them off of it, until Draedon accidently went down upside down and freaked out! We had a a blast with the Jacksons at Grandpa & Grandma Gardners carving pumpkins and eating Grandma's traditional homemade donuts. Finally Halloween day came and we were off to Janel & Dustins for trick or treating and a mad game of Guitar Hero. Seriously Dustin & Janel you need to put the guitars down and get some sleep!

Sometimes it feels like so much time has passed and things are so different..... then, I read about your holiday traditions and realize we have many that are the same: donuts at halloween, the kids re-enacting the manger scene at Christmas, cinnamon-sugar rolled up torillas, etc..... Then I remember the years we spent together and it doesn't feel like so long ago. It's wonderful to see traditions live on!
